Pakistani TV host Sahir Lodhi, who dominated television screens for over a decade, is failing to regain his fame in the digital era. With nearly 80% of Pakistan’s audience shifting from TV to social media, local vloggers have surpassed traditional celebrities in popularity.
In an attempt to stay relevant, the 57-year-old has turned to vlogging but lacks the skills to engage viewers. His content—mostly poached eggs and salmon breakfast or lunch videos—has been criticized as boring and unoriginal. Additionally, his exaggerated attempts to mimic Shah Rukh Khan’s style have made him a target of memes rather than admiration.
Despite hiring a videographer, Lodhi’s content fails to entertain, proving that the transition from TV to social media isn’t easy without adapting to digital trends. For now, he remains a fading star struggling to keep up with Pakistan’s evolving entertainment landscape.
